In 1976, Bruno Gambacorti brought to Australia Gineico a family-owned, Italian marine equipment business. G.I.N.E.I.C.O is an acronym for Gambacorti Italian Nautical Export Import Co and was later revised and simplified to Gineico. Passed from father to sons, the business expanded and now includes VECO HVAC systems, Gianneschi registry grade pumps and blowers, Idromar water makers, Tecnicomar Waste Water Purification Systems, Heavy Duty Door Hardware, Vimar switches and marine LED lighting, architectural and decorative lighting.

Today Gineico works with over 30 leading Italian manufacturers designers in marine equipment, architectural lighting and boatyard infrastructure equipment systems. In addition Gineico Marine has AerLift Australia who are Exclusive Agents for ASCOM and ABI Trailer Specialist Lifting Equipment in Australia and New Zealand: Marine Straddle Carriers, Amphibious and hardstand Trailers and Forklifts. ASCOM have been producing boat hoists and boat trailers in Italy since 1972. An ISO9001: 2008 certified manufacturer, ASCOM’s specialist ABI Trailers division, have nearly 1,000 motorised trailers around the world. Their original 50t boat hoist is over 45 years old and is still in operation today! The ASCOM / ABI Trailer technical office in Italy is highly experienced. AerLift Australia works closely with their clients and the technical office in Italy to design and deliver custom machines that are built to the client’s specific requirements. Gineico Marines mission is to represent innovative Italian marine products as well as nurture new emerging brands.
