AIMEX are excited to announce that we will be incorporating a commercial defence stream in our programme at ASMEX 2015; this follows on from the recent announcement of an AIMEX commercial defence division.
The 5th annual ASMEX Conference and Marine Export & Superyacht Awards gala dinner will be held once again at the 5 star Intercontinental at Sanctuary Cove on the Gold Coast on May 19-20, 2015 with a programme that will provide high calibre national and international speakers covering a broad range of topics targeted at the commercial, defence, export and superyacht sectors.
MaryAnne Edwards CEO of AIMEX and Superyacht Australia said “including a commercial defence sector is exciting and further reinforces our commitment to this industry sector. The industry needs a strong voice to government and needs quality information on which to base business decisions. AIMEX has recently commissioned research into this industry sector looking at key primes, the supply chain, the opportunities, threats and the key issues that need to be brought to the attention of government. This research will be presented at the conference”.
AIMEX is currently securing some high level speakers within the commercial defence arena and it is expected a large number of industry players and government representatives will attend. AIMEX will soon be releasing a commercial defence website as part of the development of this division.
