The Australian Commercial Marine Group and Superyacht Australia will have a strong presence at the Marine17. This exhibition will run from 30 July – 1 August at Sydney International Conference Centre in Darling Harbour. The Australian Commercial Marine Group and Superyacht Australia will be showcasing in the Marine 17 Exhibition Hall, stand 11.

“Seeing the increasing membership and a growing demand in operating in the commercial marine and defence maritime sectors, it was crucial to ensure a strong united presence at the conference. The Australian Commercial Marine Group and Superyacht Australia are sure to bring plenty of business opportunities for those who want to access marine sector leaders from state and federal governments and industry to discuss the key sectoral issues across the themes of boating business, marinas, boating safety and light commercial marine. The anticipated visitors to our stand is expected to be high and will directly help to bolster Australia’s marine industry sector, which is already experiencing record growth” stated Denis Maher Business Development Manager for the Australian Commercial Marine Group.

The ACMG will be representing members operating in the commercial marine and defence maritime sectors, including Primes and supply chain SME’s, service providers and operators.

The Australian Commercial Marine Group created under the AIMEX & Superyacht Australia umbrella is the leading industry body supporting, developing and promoting the Australian Commercial and Defence Maritime Industry both nationally and internationally. For the past years, ACMG and Superyacht Australia have provided the industry with a clear, single voice on major issues affecting the industry. To name a few, the recent Economic Impact Study SYA commissioned has been a significant tool in  lobbying  government to understand the urgency for a regulation change in allowing foreign flagged superyachts to charter in Australia, increasing the overall superyacht industry value from 1.965 billion to 3.34 billion. The economic benefits of increasing Australian international superyacht visitation numbers will be substantial for all industry service providers.

Marine 17 is set to attract over 500 attendees and more than 70 exhibitors from across the Asia Pacific region. This unique 3 day event will bring together the marine sector leaders from state and federal governments and industry to discuss the key sectoral issues across the themes of boating business, marinas, boating safety and light commercial marine.
