Draft Marine Order 57 (Helicopter operations) 2016 is open for consultation until 19 February 2016
Draft Marine Order 57 (Helicopter operations) 2016 makes provisions for the safe conduct of helicopter operations on vessels and references the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS) Guide to helicopter-ship operations. This draft Marine Order is written in a modernised draft style under the Navigation Act 2012. This new Order is intended to replace the current Marine Order 57 (Helicopter operations) 2010, and Schedule 33 of Marine Order 4 (Transitional modifications) 2013.
