BSE is pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Pedley to the position of Dockyard Manager of BSE Cairns Slipways. Simon joined Cairns Slipways in 2008, and for the past 8 years has managed a wide range of commercial, luxury & defence vessel refit and repair projects in the dockyard. Prior to joining Cairns Slipways, Simon’s background included 4 years at Tenix working on the Pacific Patrol Boat Program, and 21 years service in Marine Engineering roles in the Royal Australian Navy.
