The Australian Commercial Marine Group (ACMG) held the inaugural Australian Commercial Marine Conference in Sydney on 1 August 2024 onboard M/V Starship, at King Street Wharf, Darling Harbour.

Targeting commercial vessel operators and marine industry professionals, the conference drew a substantial audience with 72 attendees representing 42 marine businesses, bringing together ferry operators, tourism vessel operators, marine technology innovators, naval architects and designers, ship builders, component manufacturers and safety regulators.

The conference delivered valuable insights to commercial operators on key topics such as the latest marine technologies, pollution regulations, lithium battery risks, and decarbonisation strategies.

Post-conference drinks were held at the conclusion of the conference, and in conjunction with the traditional AIMEX, Superyacht Australia and ACMG Sydney Boat Show Networking Drinks.
